Traditionally, a lantern is a construction of glass with wood, metal or other material, which means that wind or rain has less control over the light source. The gas lanterns from Cosi-fires contain a gas flame that mainly emits light and sometimes also provides a little bit of heat. The Cosiscoop gas lanterns in our range use a spiked cartridge gas filling which is not included as standard. This filling is good for a number of hours of mood lighting in the garden, about 5 to 6 hours.

The Cosi gas lanterns are fun to place on a table or on the floor. New in our range are the Cosiscoop Drop Black and Light Gray. These gas lanterns give a nostalgic effect thanks to the round openings on the side. This also gives you a nice view of the fire game.

Do you prefer more heat? Then take a look at the Cosi fire tables or the Cosiscoop Pillar fire columns in this category. These give off more heat than the gas lanterns and also let you enjoy a beautiful larger fire play. You can connect a 5 kg gas bottle to the fire tables and fire columns.

How should you use a Cosi gas lantern?

The Cosi gas lanterns are easy to use. As you can already read above, the Cosi gas lantern uses a pinch cartridge gas filling. At the bottom of the gas lantern is a bottom that you can unscrew. When you turn it out, you can place the gas cartridge in it. Then screw the gas cartridge with bottom firmly into the gas lantern, so that the gas cartridge is punctured. Then put the gas lantern back down and place the stones around the burner. Then you can turn up the gas before use and light it with a long lighter. After use, you only have to turn off the gas. You must leave the gas cartridge in place, provided it is still filled with gas.
